In 2009 we Energized the Minds. We again had a great audience who kept the conversation invigorating and alive. Each person walked out with something new.
We also had the opportunity to speak with Mayor Bob Dixson from Greensburg, Kansas. In May 2007, an EF5 tornado ripped through Greensburg, Kansas. It was ferocious and unforgiving - more than 90 percent of the town was simply flattened. Just a few days after the tornado, this small farming town made ambitious plans for rebuilding green, from a wind farm at the electric plant to green homes and businesses.
